Healthy schools week wrapped up today with an extremely close Hunger Games grade competition at lunch on the Tennis Courts. From fresh fruit at the main entrance in the morning, to daily lunchtime competitions, the events were both fun and educational. Thanks to the Healthy School council for organizing such an entertaining week of fun.
On six different ocasions this year, Stelly's students have made the treck to the Uptown or Marie Winspear Blood Drive Clinics to donate blood. In total more than 36 grade 11 and 12 students (17 years or older) have participated this year. Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to make a donation this and to Kayleen Rischmiller for spearheading the project. Our final donation days are coming up on Wed June 6 and and Thurs June 7. If you haven't yet donated, now's your chance! Sign up on the leadership board if you can participate. Remember, every donation can save up to 3 lives!

Last Friday many staff and students dressed up as their favorite Super Heroes to celebrate our annual "Sting" spirit assembly in Block 4. Those who attended "The Sting" laughed their way through a variety of student skits and fun competitions, which usually ended in a somewhat messy situation. A big thanks to everyone who participated and volunteered to take part in one way or another. An extra big thanks also goes out to our organizing committee (Lexy Young, Nareka Narendrabalan, Jaylene Sandhu, Allison Rashleigh and Rene Duguay) for coordinating such an awesome event.
