Kayleen is an amazing kid! She was home schooled through grade nine before effortlessly entering the public school system in grade ten at Stelly's Secondary School. Now a grade twelve student, she has maintained grades of high A's throughout her schooling while being involved in many extracurricular activities. At her school, Kayleen is a leader in the Amnesty International Group, through which she heads the 30 hour famine. She's a World Vision Youth Ambassador and coordinates the school blood drive. She's also involved in the school's leadership program, is on the student council, is a grad executive, and she volunteers twice a month at Brentwood House (a dementia care home). To top it off, she'll be travelling to Nepal in March with the Stelly's Global Perspectives group to help build a library.

She plays piano, guitar, ukulele, and has her black belt in taekwon-do. After graduation, she plans on attending UVic to obtain a degree in biology, and then going to UBC's Island Medical Program. She always has a positive attitude and is willing to take the time to help anyone in need!
