The Library needs volunteers for either the morning or the afternoon. The amount of time you can help out, is up to each volunteer.

 

        1)  Presently the library has a very large backlog of book, magazines, and some videos that aren't available for borrowing because they have to create electronic records

        for each item, and also physically process them before they can be added to the collection and loaned to borrowers.

 

         2) There are also a number of books that are in various states of disrepair, and need regluing of the binding, and/or taping of pages, and/or other attention.

 

         *Other tasks could include shelving books, and using the front desk computer to check books out or in.

          There are other things volunteers could do, as well, such as create displays in the library, or produce computer reports listing items (books, magazines, videos) on loan or overdue.
