Stelly's Junior Citizenship Award
DONOR: |
Stelly’s Secondary School
|
VALUE: |
Plaque and name engraved on perpetual trophy |
CRITERIA: |
- Junior student – must be in full-time attendance in Grades 9 or 10.
- Service to school – must have been nominated for a service award. The awards committee will be sensitive to the fact that the service involvement students might be less than that of senior students.
- Academic – should, but not necessarily must, have made the year-end honour roll. The student must certainly have demonstrated academic strength.
- Athletic – this factor could be used should it not be possible to distinguish a clear winner. It is assumed that any candidate for the Junior Citizenship Award would be involved athletically and/or in school affairs, even if this was limited to active support in organizations or management of teams or clubs.
