The Stelly's band under direction of Mr. Ziegler, sparkled in the annual Sidney Sparkles parade. The group, including helpers, made up 10% of the schools population and sounded amazing for the thousands of people that lined the streets in Sidney. The band looked extra special thanks to their new uniforms courtesy of the Stelly's PAC. Congratulations Stelly's. Here is a taste of what they sounded like.

Earlier in November, four of our talented Stellys athletes traveled to Abbotsford to compete at the BC Cross Country Championships: Jonah Brost, Jacob Webster, Ellaina Coley and Adrianna Hilton.  They all ran extremely well on a challenging course, competing against huge fields of 250 to 280 athletes per race!!   In the senior boys race, Jonah Brost placed 3rd in a dramatic finish-missing 2nd place by 1 sec!  Adrianna Hilton placed 21st for junior girls!
Congratulations to all of them for representing Stellys with pride!

Please also wish Jonah good luck this weekend as he travels to nationals as a member of the U20  BC Cross Country Team!  Go Stingers!!
