Congratulations to our Track and Field team on yesterdays meet at UVic. Braving cool and windy conditions our athletes sprinted, hurdled, jumped and threw to impressive performances in each discipline. Our six newest rookies made the most of their first competition and performed admirably.  To our sprinters (Abby, Logan, and Jean) who just learned the art of using the starting block, incredible,  no false starts!  To our first time throwers, Belle, Gabrielle, Jean, and Dawson - you rock!  Our lone hurdler, Athena, yahoo!  Clean over 80 metres.  Long jumpers and spear chuckers (Torin, Aidan and Dawson), good flight interesting landings.  And David Johnson had two solid races.  Great work everybody!
