GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Reminder the Cafeteria is closed for the year... Pizza Sale at lunch in the main foyer! $2.50 a slice

PERFORMING ARTS AWARDS NIGHT is on Wednesday night, June 21st at 6pm in the MPR!

YEARBOOK DISTRIBUTION: Yearbook Distribution is Wednesday: GRADS @ break in Large Gym; Grade 9, 10 & 11 @ lunch. Extra books will be available from Accounting for $60 on Wednesday only

Wednesday, June 21 is National Aboriginal Day. This is a day for all Canadians to recognize and celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.

FINAL EXAMS
The schedule for final exams is on the School website and posted throughout the school. Please check the list to make sure you are ready to write exams on the right day at the right time.

BUS SCHEDULE: During Exam week School District buses will be running on a regular schedule up until June 29th.

LOCKER CLEAN UP: Time is set aside on Wednesday in block 3 for students to clean out lockers. Please take home everything that you don't need for exam prep. Return textbooks and library books. Locks can stay on the lockers until the end of exams.  Please use the recycling bins as much as possible, rather than filling up garbage containers. Anything left in lockers after June 29th will be donated to charity!

STELLY'S YEAR END AWARDS CEREMONY is on Thursday, June 29th at 9:30am in the Large Gym.

REPORT CARDS: Report Cards will be available for pick up on Thursday, June 29th from 8:30am - 9am in TA Classrooms. Leftover report cards will be available for pick up in the office the first week of July and in September. Report Cards will NOT be mailed home!

NEED EXTRA STUDY HELP? Free Tutoring is available this week on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday in the Career Centre from 1:30pm to 4:30pm provided by the Boys and Girls Club.

COMMUNITY RECYCLING and BOTTLE DRIVE SATURDAY: The Community Recycling program is continuing over the summer on every fourth Saturday of the month  along with Bottle drives to start fund raising for Grad 2018.  Thank you for your continued support of this fund raising program.

LIBRARY BOOKS: Did you know that there are still over 1700 books still checked out of the library? Please return any books you are not using today.! Remember students are responsible for paying for any lost books!

HOMESTAY FAMILIES NEEDED: Do you live in the SD63 catchment area? Would you like to host one of our outstanding international students? If so please contact our home stay coordinator, Kelly Seaman for more information at: kbeaman@sd63.bc.ca

 LOST & FOUND: Missing a hoodie, shorts or a water bottle.....Check out the lost and Found Table located in the hallway outside of Rm 113

YOUTH IN ACTION: Youth in action has begun a Crutches and Canes drive! Bring in your old crutches, canes, walkers or casts to be sent to people in need !

CAREER CENTER

WORK EXPERIENCE - GRADE 12 CREDITS: If you have registered for Work Experience for Grade 12 credits, get your paperwork in ASAP to the Career Center!

SUMMER JOBS: If you don't have a SUMMER JOB Yet remember to check out the JOB BOARD right out side the Career Center... Lots of new jobs and opportunities posted daily!
