GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

CLUBS DAY: Interested in joining one of Stelly's awesome clubs? Not sure what we have to offer? Check out the Clubs Day in the foyer today at lunch.

YEARBOOK meets today at lunch in Rm 136

Photo Day
School photos will be taken on Monday morning September 18th.  Every student in every grade needs a photo taken for school I.D. purposes, even if you do not plan to purchase photos.
Student Parking
Reminder to all students who are driving cars to school:  all cars must be registered if you are parking in the student parking lot.  Please come to the office to pick up your registration form. 

LIBRARY :  Your student card is your library card....grade 9's you may use your Bayside student card to take out books until you get your Stelly's card.

ATHLETICS

FALL SPORTS TRYOUTS :   After school today Jr. Boys soccer is happening on the back field. Tommorrow morning the Aquatics club is meeting at 6:30am at Panorama Rec Center

GRADUATION 2018

The Stelly's Secondary 2018 Graduates Official Facebook Page is up! If you haven't joined yet, search "Stelly's Grad 2018" and request to be added. This Facebook Page is the only way to get all of the Grad information so if you don't have facebook and want to be in the know about Grad 2018- get an account and request to be added!

INTERNATIONAL:

Camp Qwanoes International Trip - October 11&12

Registration is $85 which includes bus transportation, 1 night Accommodation, food, and fabulous outdoor activities such as zip-lining and monster swing!  Last day to register is Thursday, September 21st! See Diane Henman in the International Office to Sign-up. Only 40 seats available!!

MEET THE TEACHER - September 28th

Come out and meet our staff on September 28th at the Meet the teacher BBQ at 5pm. Following the BBQ, at 6pm we will meet in the Gym for a Welcome address from our principal followed by a rotation of your students class schedule.

BREAKFAST CLUB VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:  The Stellys Breakfast Program needs parent volunteer help. 7:30am-9am Thursday and Friday mornings. Please contact Leila at leilanazaroff@gmail.com if you are able to help

CANADIAN PARENTS FOR FRENCH

CPF's annual magazine fundraiser has now started and runs to Sept 27. Please shop online at www.qsp.ca and use the following code, Stelly's = 4737680, with your subscription order - the more funds raised the more activities we can offer to support Core, FSL and Immersion for all students.

Peninsula Youth Health Clinic
The Peninsula Youth Health Clinic, is located at the Ocean Pier Medical Clinic, (#207-2537 Beacon Avenue in Sidney) every THURSDAY 6-8pm.  This clinic offers completely free and confidential service in the areas of physical, sexual, and mental health for youth.  Walk-ins are welcome. This Youth Clinic offers a judgement-free zone for all youth and is an LGBTQ safe space.  For more information, call or text 250-216-8389.
