REMINDER to RETURN YOUR TEXTBOOKS ASAP! Students who have outstanding textbooks from 1st semester will not be issued textbooks for 2nd semester until they are returned!
2nd SEMESTER TIMETABLES will be handed out on Friday at the end of Block 1.

CAREER CENTRE
TEAC 105 COURSE - Explorations in Technology
You can now register for the FEBRUARY TEAC session, the program runs Fridays, 3-6 pm - February through May. This dual-credit course provides current high school students with an introduction to careers in Computer Science, Electronic and Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. In this session you will learn all about credit cards and pre-paid cards and loans, the advantages and disadvantages, what to look for and how to calculate the “real” cost of a loan.

Brentwood Thrift Shop is looking for a volunteer on Saturdays, 7105-B West Saanich Road. Shifts are 10:00 am - 1:00 pm or 1:00 pm - 4:00pm

GRAD TRANSITIONS
Grads get your Grad Transition done now before crunch time! Grad Transition Interview day is Tuesday, April 17th. If you have intentions of graduating early see Ms Jackson in the career centre. Grad Transition information and forms are available from the Career Centre or website. Remember, GT is a graduation requirement.

PARENTS:
Peninsula Youth Health Clinic - Update
Unfortunately, the Peninsula Youth Clinic will not be open in January. Organizers want to reassure any patients who have used the clinic over the last several months (and do not currently have a family doctor) that follow-up appointments can be made with Dr. Evans at Ocean Pier Medical Centre during regular office hours (please call 250-656-4114 to book follow-up appointments). Dr. Vogt will also continue to follow any youth who saw her in Psychiatric consultation, if needed. The main Victoria Youth Clinic is still open to all youth and is located at 818 Douglas Street on the 3rd floor. It is open Monday to Thursday 11-5 and Friday 11-4.
