Senior Girls Volleyball: 2-1 After 1st Day of League

A shorthanded Senior Girls Volleyball team got off to a good start in league play on Tuesday evening. The team beat SMU in a tough 3 set match, swept Esquimalt 25-11, 25-16 and then lost a heartbreaker in 3 sets to GNS 23-25, 25-22, 13-15. The girls leave at 8:30 Friday morning for the Vanier / Mark Isfeld tournament in Courtenay, and despite the fact that they will, again, be missing a number of players, look to have a strong showing.
