GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
BOYS DAY: Any grade 9 or 10 boys that had PE in Semester 1 but, is interested in participating in an ACTIVE BOY'S DAY on May 15th, come to a brief meeting at lunch in the big gym today. We will be playing ultimate frizbee, mountain biking, cross fit and much much more! Come sign up for an awesome afternoon!
REPORT CARDS: Report Cards are available for pick up from the office!
HOMEWORK HELP: Don't forget...Homework Help is available everyday in the Learning Commons starting at 7:30am and after school until 4pm.
ATHLETICS
KAYAK CLUB: Paddling club starts this Friday after school. Meeting Tuesday at lunch in rm 112 to pick up permission forms and find out more info.
CAREER CENTRE
Employment Advisor Visit – Thursday, May 24th
Save the date for a visit from Employment Advisor, Lana Millot, next week on Thursday, May 24th, at lunch in the Career Centre. Learn about how to get started with getting a job or how to get training for the job you want. Also, she will have information on how to get funding for Forklift Training, Traffic Control Ticket, Serving It Right, First Aid and more.
OSEF Student Exchange - Application Deadline
There is still time to apply for a 2018/2019 exchange to Europe with OSEF. Experience France, Belgium or Spain for 1 month this summer or 11 weeks next year with a reciprocal exchange program. Application submission deadline is approaching quickly. Please see the Career Centre for more information.

ELIGIBLE GRADS LIST: The list of eligible Grads is posted in the counselling window! If you are not on the list you need to see Ms Batham in the main office and find out why!
UVIC REGISTRATION 101 – Monday , May 14- Students already registered or thinking about registering with UVic are invited to attend a Registration 101 presentation next Monday May 14 from 3:10 – 4pm in the Career Centre.
FINAL GRAD TRANSITION INTERVIEWS: The final Grad Transition Interview schedule is posted on the Counselling & Career Center doors for your May 9th interview times.
District Scholarship Applications
Reminder that the deadline to hand in applications for District Scholarships is May 15th, 2018

PARENT'S AFTER GRAD MEETING: The next aftergrad meeting is tonight in the Stelly's Learning Commons at 7pm.
