GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Congratulations to the amazingly talented Stelly’s Music students who’s performance last night at the year end concert was spectacular! Kudos to all!

AN EVENING OF DANCE AND MUSICAL THEATRE is happening tonight at 7pm in the MPR. Tickets available at the office or the door.

PAC MEETING TONIGHT: Final PAC meeting of the year tonight at 7pm in the Learning Commons. Everyone Welcome to attend!

Hey Stellys!  Do you have a job? Are you working (or volunteering) this summer? Earn Grade 12 credits thru Work Experience over the summer. Register for Work Experience in the Career Centre before June 27th to qualify!!

BOOK RETURNS: Just a reminder to return any Library books by the end of the week!

KICK FOR THE CURE: A reminder to all Kick for the Cure participants to head to right to Centennial field after school today for our annual Kick for the Cure game! Bring your donations and your kicks!

CAREER CENTRE

STUDIO 63 HAIRSTYLIST PROGRAM:  Any students interested in the Hairstylist Program please come to a brief meeting on today in the Career Centre at the beginning of lunch.

TRAINING & EDUCATION:

Trades Exploration (TEX) Program - Want to learn more about what it is like to work as a carpenter, plumber, electrician, or welder?  There are still 7 seats available for next year’s Semester 2 Trades Exploration Program, provided in partnership with Camosun College. Learn about each trade, fast track your future and earn up to 24 credits toward grad for completing 6 courses!  See Mr. Rhodes in the Career Centre for more information.  He also has information on incentive grants and paid tuition for programs at Camosun related to the trades.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Canada Day Volunteers Needed
Help the Sidney Lions Club to serve a pancake breakfast to families before the parade and games at Iroquois Park in Sidney. Duties would include serving pancakes, sausage, coffee and juice on July 1st from 7:00 am to 11:00 am. Contact Sara at slawton@beaconcs.ca or call 250-656-5537

AFTER GRAD CLOTHING DROP OFF: Reminder After Grad clothing drop off starts this Thursday morning and again on Monday and Tuesday! Don't forget ... you will definately want comfy clothes to wear at the after grad!

INTERNATIONAL

STELLY’S INTERNATIONAL STUDENT FAREWELL: Stelly's International Student Farewell is happening on Wednesday, June 13 at 2:30pm in the MPR. We will be honouring our grad students as well as our students who are leaving the program. Following the ceremony students will be bussed to Dinner and Bowling. Students must register for this event with Diane as soon as possible.
