GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

YEARBOOK DISTRIBUTION: Year books will be handed out today. If you didn’t pre-purchase a yearbook you can do so from the Accounting office. $60 each.

PERFORMING ARTS AWARDS: Stelly's Performing Arts Awards night is tonight at 7pm in the MPR! Everyone Welcome!

EXAMS: The exam schedule is posted outside the office and on the website.  Please triple check your exam times and be sure to bring all appropriate exam supplies with you: pens, pencils, erasers, and calculator.

Breakfast Club is still happening Thursday and Friday of this week only!

TIMETABLES FOR NEXT YEAR: Today at the end of Block 3 we will be having TA to hand out your timetable for next year.

LOCKER CLEAN OUT: Lockers must be totally cleared out by this Friday June 22nd. Any items left in lockers will be donated to charity. Make sure you bring a bag to put your belongings into!!

BOOK RETURNS: Just a reminder to return any Library books that you don't need for exam prep! Over 1600 books are still checked out of the library!

GRAD 2019: The Grad class of 2019 can now order their pinnies (clothing) online. The link to the store can be found on the Stelly’s Grad 2019 instagram page.

HOMEWORK HELP: Homework Help is still available this week starting at 7:30am

CAREER CENTRE

Are you keen to explore the Marine TASK Program (Trades, Awareness, Skills & Knowledge)

his program still has seats available for the six week summer program, starting July 3 to August 10. You will receive an introduction to the safety practice, work readiness skills and certifications required to enter the marine industry. Hands-on Instruction at Camosun College and Industry Field Trips. See your Career Centre for more information regarding the Marine TASK Program,  and register for this course with your school counsellor.

DISCOVER CULINARY ARTS - A half day experience @ Camosun. Come try your hands at one of the best and most successful Red Seal designated Professional Cook training programs in Canada! You will get an opportunity to shadow post-secondary students, work in professional kitchen, to get a taste of this course. You pick the day!Day bus pass will be provided. FREE RETAIL TRAINING July 8 to July 29 - Sidney (9775 Third Street) & Brentwood Bay (7105-B West Saanich Road). This certificate program prepares you for first time work experiences in retail and many other work environments. Training includes: Working a cash register and counting cash - Customer service - Creating displays - Sorting inventory - Assisting with pricing

Trades Exploration (TEX) Program - Want to learn more about what it is like to work as a carpenter, plumber, electrician, or welder?  There are still 7 seats available for next year’s Semester 2 Trades Exploration Program, provided in partnership with Camosun College. Learn about each trade, fast track your future and earn up to 24 credits toward grad for completing 6 courses!  See Mr. Rhodes in the Career Centre for more information.  He also has information on incentive grants and paid tuition for programs at Camosun related to the trades.

Great opportunity for anyone interested in learning about office administrative practices in the healthcare sector. Canada Day Volunteers Needed

Peninsula Youth Clinic –  OPEN ALL SUMMER
The Peninsula Youth Clinic is located at Peninsula Medical, 2a-2379 Bevan Avenue, Sidney and is open every THURSDAY from 5:30 - 7:30pm with both a doctor and mental health clinician on hand. The clinic will be open these same hours all summer.
