GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

CANADIAN UNIVERSITIES EVENT: This Tuesday the Canadian Universities Event is happening at Stelly's in the Large Gym from 1-3pm. Universities and Colleges from across Canada will be attending and providing information on progams, entrance requirements etc. Great chance to see what post secondary options are out there!

ART CLUB: Reminder to those students interested in the Stelly's Art Club...starts after school on Tuesday!    See Mr. S for more info.

BUS PASSES: If you registered for the School bus.....School District Bus Passes are now available for pick up in the main office!

HOMEWORK HELP: Need any help with your homework? Extra Help is available every morning from 7:15am and after school Monday/Tuesday and Thursday in the Learning Commons!

EUROPE 2019: Are you interested in visiting Europe on Spring Break? There will be a tour to London, Paris, Florence and Rome in March, 2019. If you would like more information, please see Ms Liberatore in room 144 or email at tliberatore@saanichschools.ca

STUDENT PARKING
Reminder to all students who are driving cars to school:  all cars must be registered if you are parking in the student parking lot.  Please come to the office to pick up your registration form.

Day Sail on a Royal Canadian Navy Warship Activities include tours of ship duty stations, crew quarters and operational equipment; Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) joint search and rescue demonstration, ship firefighting simulation, and demonstration of the warship’s impressive manoeuvring capabilities. Pendray Farms Corn Maze
On SATURDAY September 29, Pendray Farms Corn Maze is teaming up with Saanich Peninsula Lions Food Bank: with a donation of a non-perishable food item, 1 child per family will be given free entry to the maze that day. Pendray Farms is at 9537 West Saanich Road, North Saanich.

MEET THE TEACHER - Thursday, September 27th

Come out and meet our staff on Thursday, September 27th at the Meet the teacher BBQ starting at 4:45pm. Following the BBQ at 5:30 pm we will meet at the entrance of the school for the unveiling ceremony of our new "Welcome Sign Carving". At 6pm we will meet in the MPR with a Welcome address from our principal followed by a rotation of your students class schedule starting at 6:30pm. Please join us, we would love to meet you!

PAC MEETING- Oct 2nd - The first PAC meeting of the year is happening on Tuesday, Oct 2nd at 7pm in the Learning Commons. All Parents/guardians are welcome to attend!
