Congratulations to the SR Girls Volleyball team who qualified for Islands Championships next week! Awesome Job Ladies! Also a huge shout out to the Sr Boys and Jr Girls Volleyball team members for helping score keep and do lines! You were Fabulous!
Also, Congrats to the Jr Boys Soccer Team on a great season! You rocked it!
Remembrance Day Assemblies: This FRIDAY, Stelly's will dedicate blocks 2 and 3 for our Remembrance Day assemblies, to honour the service and sacrifice of the men and women who served our country, and those who continue to serve, in order to preserve our Canadian values and freedoms. This year is an especially notable year, as this is 100th anniversary of the World War 1 armistice. Please remember to bring a loonie or twoonie to donate to receive a poppy!
ATHLETICS
Any boys interested in playing basketball for our school please come to a meeting Wednesday at lunch in the big gym.

Applications for the 2019 Fire/Rescue Camp are due November 8! Do you ever wonder what it’s like to run into a building that everyone else is running out of? Dream of using an extrication tool to cut up a car and extricate a victim? Think you could dangle off the end of a rope 50 feet in the air? Want to make a difference? If you have answered yes to any of the questions, you are a great candidate for the Southern Gulf Islands Fire/Rescue Cadet Camp taking place during one week of Spring Break 2019. Soldier For A Day- Work/Study Program
The BC Army Reserve is hosting a Soldier for a Day program on SATURDAY, November 17th. This program is an introduction to the role of the BC Army Reserve both here in your home community, across Canada and even around the world. It’s also worth 6 1/2 hours of work experience. Don’t wait too long to sign up, as spaces are filling up fast!

POST SECONDARY INSTITUTES OF BC & CAREER COACHING SEMINAR - Thursday, NOV 15TH
Representatives from the POST SECONDARY INSTITUTES OF BC will be at Stelly's on Thursday, November 15th starting at 6:00 through to 8:00pm to provide information about their programs, admissions and answer any questions you may have! There are 2 presentation sessions in various classrooms followed by a min fair. Also, we are hosting a "PARENTS AS CAREER COACHES" Seminar at 6:30pm to help parents guide their children to make sound educational and career choices.
