GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Stelly's Jr Musical Theatre Class presents "Let's Go to the Movies" a tribute to Hollywood Musicals this Friday, May 31st at 7pm in the MPR. Tickets are available at the Main office. Adults $10 and Students $5.
Stelly's Global 11 Class is holding a raffle to raise money to benefit the Children's Hospital Foundation. Tickets are on sale this week at lunch only $0.50 each or 3 for $1.00. Come on out and support their passion project and win a $30 gift card for the cafeteria.
Stelly’s last coffee concert of the year is Monday, June 10th. The Audition Sign up sheet is posted on the band room door. Auditions will be in the dining room next week.
The June Exam Schedule has now been posted on the website and in the main Foyer. Please check it over and ensure you don't have any exam conflicts. All Grade 10 through 12 students are required to take a numeracy exam, please sign up online, a registration button is on the Stelly's website. Grade 12's make sure that you have taken a Numeracy Assessment as it is mandatory Grad requirement!
The last day to drop classes for this semester so that they don’t show up on your transcript is this FRIDAY May 31st.

Trades Exploration (TEx Program) - The semester 2 (2020) TEx Program, at Claremont Secondary, can help you discover the trade that suits you and your talents best, and, lead into post secondary trades training at Camosun College or our other partner post-secondary institutions. Tex combines school-based instruction with actual work-place experience in Carpentry, Plumbing, Welding and Electrical, giving a comprehensive overview of each of these trade areas. Learn about each trade, fast track your future and earn up to 24 credits toward grad for completing 6 courses! TEAC 105 - Explorations in Technology - Do you want to explore Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Civil Engineering, and Computer Science? TEAC 105 explores these four technologies through hands-on activities and project-based learning. This dual-credit course is offered in partnership with Camosun College and runs on Friday afternoons at Camosun Interurban Campus from 3- 6 pm, from September to February. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Folk ‘N Fiddle Festival, May 31-June 1 (Mary Winspear Centre, Sidney). Volunteers are desperately needed to cover a range of jobs, from food to merchandising to doing festival evaluations.The shifts are 4 hours long. If interested, please contact volunteers@folknfiddle.ca
Kelset Elementary School is looking for volunteers to help with their Spring Fair on June 7th. Volunteers are needed to run carnival games, face painting, craft tables, ticket booths. The fair runs from 5-8 pm, extra volunteers are also needed for set-up and clean-up. Contact Sara at: slawton@beaconcs.ca
Volunteers needed for Brentwood Festival June 1 at Pioneer Park. Help at this fun family event featuring artisans, concertsand farm stands. Our station involves children activities such asface painting, and children crafts. 4 volunteers needed for each shift. Shifts are 9-1 and 12-4, or stay the day! Extra Grad Ceremony Tickets Available starting today!
Additional tickets for the Stelly's Graduation Ceremony will be available from the UVic Ticket Centre (at the Farquhar Auditorium) starting today at 9:30 a.m. in person or over the phone. Ticket limit: 2 tickets/student for as many families as can be accommodated. $10 per ticket + taxes. UVic Ticket Centre: 250-721-8480.
Grads! Was your full legal name correct at the UVIC Grad rehearsal? If not, you need to bring your birth certificate, passport or driver's licence to Ms. Shelly in the main office as soon as possible.

INTERNATIONAL
All International Students are asked to attend our last lunch meeting tomorrow in the Dining Room. Lunch will be provided.
SISP International Year End Celebration BBQ is scheduled for Tuesday, June 4 from 5:30 - 8:00 pm at Stelly's. All Host Families and International Students are invited to an evening of Food, Music and Fun! Please sign-up with Diane.
Stelly's International Student Farewell -Wed., June 12 @ 11:15 (Learning Commons) & 2:10 pm (Bowling & Dinner)
On Wednesday, June 12 at lunch time all International students are asked to attend a farewell ceremony where we will be honouring our graduating international students as well as our students who are leaving the program. Dessert only will be served, so please bring your own lunch. At 2:10 pm, the same day, Students are asked to meet in front of the school where we will be heading out on School Buses to Langford Lanes for Bowling and Dinner. Students will be back at Stelly's by 6:30 pm. All students who wish to go on the after school trip must pick up a Field Trip form from Diane in the International Office.
