GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Congratulations to the Stelly's sailing team for placing second at the Championship regatta this past weekend at Royal Victoria Yacht club.  There were 10 high schools competing.  The winds were great which made for some close races!  Way to go team!

Congratulations to Cindy Koira who this past weekend competed in Vancouver Island Junior Girls U19 Zone Golf Championship and won the tournament. Cindy will be representing Zone5 at Provincial Junior Championship in July! Well Done Cindy!

FRANCE 2020 Parent/student Meeting is happening tonight at 6pm in Room 108. All parents of students wishing to travel to Europe next Spring Break must attend.

The Last Stelly’s Coffee Concert of the Year is tonight at 6:30pm in the MPR. Doors open at 6pm. Come out and listen to the amazing talent we have at stelly’s while enjoying a cup of coffee!

FREE CLOTHING Swap is happening today through Thursday in the Dining Room. Please drop off any unwanted clothing and then sort through and pick something out for your self. All left over clothing will be donated to the Victoria Pride Society

Last  chance to order yearbooks is this Friday,June 14th, 2019. Cost is $60 each,  See Mrs. Youell in the Accounts office.

2019-2020 School Bus Registration is now open for students wishing to take the District School Bus next year.  Please go to the School District Website under transportation and register your student. Note: Students must be registered by June 29, 2018 to ensure a seat on the bus.

Timetables for 2019/2020
There will be a TA on June 19th to hand out preliminary timetables for next school year and to do a locker clean out.

The June Exam Schedule is posted on the website and in the main Foyer. Please check it over and ensure you don't have any exam conflicts. Reminder to all Grade 10 through 12 students to also sign up online for a numeracy exam, a registration button is on the Stelly's website. Grade 12's make sure that you have taken a Numeracy Assessment as it is mandatory Grad requirement!

HOMEWORK HELP:  Need any help with your homework? Extra Help is available every morning from 7:15am in the Learning Commons or after school every day until 4pm! Check it out! 

ATHLETICS

Reminder to ALL FEMALE BASKETBALL PLAYERS: Stinger season training for all girls in Grade 9-12 is after school today from 3:30-5pm . Anyone and everyone is welcome to come and develop their skills.

GRAD 2019

LAST MANDATORY GRAD REHEARSAL is on Thursday at lunch in the Large Gym. All Grads are required to attend!

AFTER GRAD CLOTHING DROP - Grads & guests are asked to drop off casual clothing (including shoes) that you want to wear for the Dry Grad Celebration.

Thursday, June 13th - 8-9:30am & 2:45 to 3:30 pm & Tuesday, June 18th - 8-10:00 am

**Drop off location will be outside the front of the school.

All grads need to drop off their clothing in a  zippered garment bag (not a plastic grocery bag or garbage bag)  This bag needs to be large enough to hold your formal wear (include a sturdy hanger). Separate bags for grad and guest required (no sharing of bags will be allowed). Make sure your bag is labelled with your full name. All bags will be inspected for banned substances. What to pack: shorts/t-shirt, undergarments, shoes/socks, flip flops/sandals, zip-lock bag for jewellery, hairbrush/toothbrush/deodorant.

INTERNATIONAL

Stelly's International Student Farewell is happening on Wednesday June 12 @ lunch in the Learning Commons. Please bring your own lunch. At 2:10 pm, the same day, Students are asked to meet in front of the school where we will be heading out on School Buses to Langford Lanes for Bowling and Dinner. Students will be back at Stelly's by 6:30 pm. All students who wish to go on the after school trip must pick up a Field Trip form from Diane in the International Office.
