For a small (in numbers) crew, the Stelly's Rowing team demonstrated excellent skill, effort and heart throughout the entire season culminating in a 4th place overall in the City Championships this year. Liam Ayers thrilled the crowds as he pushed through the field in the final 200 meters to come second in the Men's Open Single final missing out on first by just over 1 second. The Stingers Novice Girls Eight and Quads dominated the league this year winning both first and third in the Women's Open Novice Quad and first in the Open Women's Novice Eight which capped off an undefeated season for the Women's Novice Eight Crew. Not only did the Stinger Crew have excellent results on the water, they definitely showed the most spirit off the water and were excellent ambassadors for our school! Well done Stingers!
