GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Last Day of Cafeteria Service is tomorrow. Be sure to thank the wonderful staff and students who have provided you with an amazing selections of lunch, snacks and treats over the past few months!

Pizza and Bake Sale is happening on Thursday and Friday. Pizza is $2.50 a slice.. . Bring your cash or drop by the accounting office and pay by debit or credit card.

Reminder to all students taking the Dual credit Law12/Criminology course next semester ...there is an important meeting today at break in room 107.

Last chance to buy CANDY GRAMS is today at lunch in the Hive Store. The cost is 50 cents each or 5 for $2.00.

INDIGENOUS LEADERSHIP meeting Wednesday at lunch in Room 152.

FRANCE 2020: Students travelling to France at Spring Break 2020, please meet at lunch  today in room 108.  See Mrs Wallace today if you are not able to make the meeting.

SCHOOL PHOTO RETAKES have arrived...Please drop by the office to pick your photos!

YOUTH IN ACTION is collecting items for the homeless.There is a box outside the office.

Reminder to Grade 9's to return your immunization forms to the office ...all forms should be in by the end of this week!

Any Grade 9 students interested in attending  a Victoria Royals Hockey game over the holidays, stop by the office and pick up a coupon to get  free admission to a game!

SCHOOL BUS PASSES are now available in the office for pick up! The bus drivers will start asking for them soon.

CAREER CENTRE

TRAINING & EDUCATION:

WOMEN IN TRADES & TECHNOLOGY EXPLORATION DAY at Camosun College -  Wednesday, Feb 19th, 2020. Bus transportation and lunch will be provided! This is a chance to check out well paying careers in the following:  Trades - Electricians - Automotive Service Technicians - Sheet Metal/Metal Fabricators - Carpenters, Technology- Civil Engineering - Computer Science - Electronics Engineering - Mechanical Engineering. More information will be out early in the New Year. You can add your name to a list in the Career Centre, see Mrs. Jackson. Spots are limited!

YMCA Summer Work Student Exchange is a national program offering opportunities for youth to improve their second official language skills, explore another part of Canada, and gain valuable work experience through a work placement while on the exchange. The program runs for 6 weeks (early July to mid August), you must be 16 or 17 years of age during the summer program. GRAD PHOTO RETAKES are starting today. There are still spots left ..stop by the office and sign up. Photos are being taken in the Lifetouch trailer just outside the Art Room in the parking lot.

INTERNATIONAL

SAANICH INTERNATIONAL STUDENT WINTER DANCE is tomorrow evening from 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm. Please sign up with Diane in the International Office ASAP! It will be an evening filled with music, dinner, photo booth, friends and even a visit with Santa!
