BC's New Curriculum - Provincial Graduation Numeracy Assessment (GNA)
The Graduation Numeracy Assessment (GNA) is a new Provincial assessment and a graduation requirement for all the students graduating after June 30th, 2018. The Graduation Numeracy assessment is not tied to a specific math course. Rather, it evaluates a student’s numeracy skills developed over the course of their education. Students will take the assessment during their graduation years (Grade 10-12). Students can re-take their Numeracy assessment to improve their proficiency score. Their best level achieved will be counted as their final result. Please click on the link below which will connect you to the Ministry of Education information: https://curriculum.gov.bc.ca/sites/curriculum.gov.bc.ca/files/pdf/Graduation_Numeracy_Brochure.pdf
Sign up for the January Numeracy Assessment is posted on the Stelly's Website. Grade 10s, 11s and 12s are eligible to register with priority going to any Grade 12 student who has not yet written the Numeracy Assessment.
