GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Today the CAFETERIA has the choice of Ham, Cheese and caramelized onion and pepper sandwich on Panini, Toonie wrap, Mediterranean Quinoa Salad, Red Lentil Dahl on Basmati Rice with Naan, Teriyaki Chicken Rice bowl or Meat Tortellini in Pesto coconut Sauce. Come on down and check it out!
A reminder to all Grade 12’s… Winter plant pick up is TODAY starting right after school until 4:30 in room 116. Please be sure to pick up and make your own deliveries. Covid protocols will be in place!
Hey Stelly’s … The leadership group has started another scavenger hunt! Keep your eyes out for green red and white stockings around outside of the school for a chance to win some money to our Cafeteria!
Stelly’s Annual Christmas Hamper Drive is now on through December 14th, 2020. We would like to be able to provide Food Hampers to families in our community. We are requesting donations of non-perishable food items, cash donations or gift cards from local grocery stores. Donation Boxes are in every classroom
Just a reminder .... MORNING HOMEWORK HELP is available every morning from 7:15 am in room 156 and AFTER SCHOOL HOMEWORK HELP is every Monday through Thursday in the Learning Commons until 4pm.
ATHLETICS
Junior Boys basketball is starting this Thursday for any grade 9 or 10 boy who is interested on Thursdays after school in the big gym. See Mr. Gordon if you have any questions!

GSA is meeting today in the Textile Room. It is a “Healthy Relationships” workshop today! Everyone is welcome! Please wear a mask!
GARDEN CLUB: The Stelly’s Gardening Club will be hosting a workshop today on how to start native plants from cuttings at lunchtime in room 164. See Mr. Siebert
CAREER CENTRE
TRAINING & EDUCATION:
TRADES EXPLORATION (TEx Program) - Want to learn more about what it is like to work as a carpenter, plumber, electrician, or welder? There are limited seats available for next year’s Quarter 3 Trades Exploration Program, provided in partnership with Camosun College. Learn about each trade, fast track your future and earn up to 8 credits toward grad for completing 2 courses! Please see Ms. Hackman in the Career Centre for more information.
SAANICH SKILLS TRAINING APPRENTICESHIP & CARPENTRY PROGRAM is a full 2nd semester immersion program where students learn the basics of constructing a wood frame structure from the bare ground to the rooftop. This program blends both theoretical knowledge and practical application of skills and concepts related to the trade. Successful students transition directly to Camosun College for further training as Level One Carpentry Apprentices. Please see Ms. Hackman in the Career Centre for more information.

AFTER GRAD FUNDRAISER: Grads ... your gift card fundraiser forms are located on the Grad board in the main foyer. We are selling gift cards from local businesses this Christmas to raise money for the 2021 Grad and the businesses will give us a portion of the sales! Forms due Dec 4th, 2020
EPICURE FUNDRAISER: The Stelly’s Parent After Grad 2021 Committee is hosting an Epicure fundraiser to raise funds for the Grad 2021 Dry Grad. Forms are located on the Grad board in the main foyer. Forms due on December 15th, 2020
