GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

TODAY THE CAFETERIA has the choice of a Baked Ham Arugula & Onion Panini, Toonie Wrap, Pear Spinach Chicken & Brie Salad, Cheese Perogies with sour cream & salsa, Thai Mango Chicken Coconut on Basmati Rice, Chorizo Sausage & pasta in a volute sauce.   Come on down and check it out!

REPORT CARDS - Quarter 3 report cards will be handed out THIS THURSDAY in block 1 classes.  If students don’t have a block 1 class, they can pick up their report cards in the office.

LEADERSHIP is running a Survivor Challenge in Quarter 4 … look in your grade wide google classroom to sign up.

REMINDER TO CLC STUDENTS:  When you have completed your 30 hours of Work Experience or Volunteering, ask your employer or volunteer coordinator to confirm your hours!  Forms are available in the Career Centre!  Return completed forms to Mrs. Jackson in the Career Centre

STUDENT ABSENCE OR LATE:  If a student will be absent or late for class, we ask that parents/guardians either email  stellys_attendance@saanichschools.ca or phone the Attendance Line 250-544-0300 to let the school know.  

JUST A REMINDER .... MORNING HOMEWORK HELP is available every morning from 7:15 am in room 156 and AFTER SCHOOL HOMEWORK HELP is every Monday through Thursday in the Learning Commons until 4pm.

MAGIC WAND PROJECT - Magic Wand Project is a non-profit organization that offers an inexpensive and eco-friendly alternative to grad outfits for both girls and boys. This is a chance to borrow, rather than buy, a dress, suit or tux, (a small fee for cleaning is the only charge). All outfits are new or like-new, and all accessories are included. WHALE WATCHING TRIP - Saanich International Student Program   - Registration forms are now available in the International Office for International Students interested in going on a Whale Watching Day Trip scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2021. The cost is $95.00 for a three-hour trip with Prince of Whales Whale and Marine Wildlife Adventures in Victoria. Deadline to apply is Friday, April 30 and registration will be on a first come first serve basis.
