High School Student Internship Opportunity - Canadian Mental Health Association – BC CMHA Victoria is looking for two high school students to help with youth engagement projects and programs across the lower island. WALE: WESTCOAST ADVENTURE LEADERSHIP EDUCATION - Develop your Adventure & Leadership Skills! Students will explore their backyard with a fun and education focus. Start dates: July 5, July 12, July 19, July 26, August 2, August 9, August 16 and August 23. Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Cost is $385 per week. LEAGUE OF INNOVATORS is hosting their annual FREE Impact Entrepreneurship Summer Camp this July 2021 for youth (14-25) across the nation! The camp will feature entrepreneurs, young changemakers and leaders sharing their stories and best practices all week through keynotes, panels, workshops and more. Tuesdays on July 6th, 13th, 20th 27th at 2PM PST. TEAC 105 - EXPLORATIONS IN TECHNOLOGY - Calling All Technology & Engineering Enthusiasts… TEAC is a Dual Credit course that provides an introduction to careers and basic skills in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Civil Engineering and Computer Science. This 4-credit course, Friday nights from 3:00- 6:00 at the Camosun Interurban Campus 3 hours per week, for 13 weeks. SOAR - ARE YOU AN ENTREPRENEUR IN THE MAKING? The SOAR Summer Innovation Camp is an interactive virtual learning program designed to immerse students in Grades 7-12 in the world of entrepreneurship and innovation through engaging online project-based learning challenges. 2021 Camp Dates - Cost $400. Tripleshot CrossFondo which is a 45+ ride of backcountry trails in Victoria BC. This event is a fundraiser for the Tripleshot Cycling Club Youth Racing Team, and also raises money to support the South Vancouver Island Nature Trail Society and the South Island Mountain Bike Society. At Stelly's on June 30th the Grad Car Parade will be happening: The Central Saanich Police will lead the parade and the local fire service will also participate. We ask that Vehicles begin arriving at Stelly's around 1.30 pm. Check out the Grad Google Classroom for the Parade route and other details!
GRAD 2022
PARENT COMMITTEE for GRAD 2022 BOTTLE DRIVE is happening on Saturday, June 26th from 9am-12pm at Stelly's School. Please consider volunteering for 1, 2 or all 3 hours. Please bring a mask and gloves, we will have a sanitizing station also. This bottle drive is HUGE and is contributing lots to the yearend grad 2022 event parents are helping with. Thank You for your continued support!!
