CRC Emergency First-Aid with CPR "C" Blended Learning - This fun and interactive 4 hours online and 4.5 hours in-class course trains people how to react and improvise during time priority, life threatening emergencies. The online component covers care for adults, children, and babies. The classroom component will focus on developing the participant’s skills. Participants must successfully complete both the online and the classroom components to be certified in Emergency First-Aid with CPR C. Foodsafe Level 1 - This 8 hour food handling, sanitation and work safety course is designed for front line food service workers such as cooks, servers, bussers, dishwashers and deli workers. The course covers important food safety and worker safety information including foodborne illness, receiving and storing food, preparing food, serving food, cleaning and sanitizing. The application into the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at Camosun College is now open and will remain open until December 15th. BC/Yukon high school students are eligible to apply in their Grade 12 year. GPA will be initially calculated on interim grades to determine provisional qualification. Self-reporting of interim grades for current BC/Yukon high school students due Feb 28, 2022.
Tripleshot CrossFondo which is a 45+ ride of backcountry trails in Victoria BC. This event is a fundraiser for the Tripleshot Cycling Club Youth Racing Team, and also raises money to support the South Vancouver Island Nature Trail Society and the South Island Mountain Bike Society. Please bring a mask and gloves, we will have a sanitizing station also. This bottle drive is HUGE and is contributing lots to the year end grad 2022 event parents are helping with. Whale Watching Trip - Saanich International Student Program - Registration forms are now available in the International Office for International Students interested in going on a Whale Watching Day Trip scheduled for Friday, October 15. The cost is $110.00 for a three hour trip with Prince of Whales- - Whale and Marine Wildlife Adventures in Victoria.
