Congratulations to the Jr. Girls A volleyball team who beat Lambrick Park and split sets against PCS as well as the Jr Girls B team who beat Oak Bay last night. Go Stingers!

Are you interested in debate, diplomacy, global politics, and current events?  Have you been wondering what Model United Nations is all about?  The Stelly's Model UN club will be holding a public demonstration and debate this Friday at lunch in the French Immersion foyer.  We encourage anyone interested to walk by and check it out.

VIRTUAL PARENTS NIGHT AT UVIC ON NOV 24th at 6pm - Parent nights are for parents and guardians of high school students, but your students are welcome to join you! In these online events, we'll answer your questions about admission requirements, scholarships and upcoming application deadlines, and offer advice on helping your children successfully transition to life in university. Events are scheduled in Pacific Time. ALERT FIRST AID with CPR” C” & AED - NEW FORMAT: Blended online and in class.  Online: emailed to you two weeks prior to class date and on Saturday, November 6th, 2021 - 12:00 am to 4:30 pm in class @ SHOAL Centre 10030 Resthaven Drive.  Cost is $50.00 - Cash, cheque or credit card is accepted.  CRC Emergency First-Aid with CPR "C" Blended Learning - This fun and interactive 4 hour online and 4.5 hours in-class course trains people how to react and improvise during time priority, life threatening emergencies.  The online component covers care for adults, children, and babies. FOODSAFE LEVEL 1 - Saturday, November 13th, 2021 - 8:30 am to 4:00 pm @   SHOAL Centre 10030 Resthaven Drive Cost is $50.00 (Cash, cheque or credit card is accepted).  Food safe Level 1 - This 8-hour food handling, sanitation and work safety course is designed for front line food service workers such as cooks, servers, bussers, dishwashers and deli workers. The course covers important food safety and worker safety information including foodborne illness, receiving and storing food, preparing food, serving food, cleaning and sanitizing. POST SECONDARY BC (PSBC) is a consortium of primarily public post-secondary institutions in BC, who provide information you need to help make the best education decisions.

Virtual Fairs for students & parents:

Tripleshot CrossFondo  which is a 45+ ride of backcountry trails in Victoria BC. Whale Watching Trip - Saanich International Student Program - Registration forms are now available in the International Office for International Students interested in going on a Whale Watching Day Trip scheduled for Friday, October 15. The cost is $110.00 for a three-hour trip with Prince of Whales- - Whale and Marine Wildlife Adventures in Victoria. Deadline to apply is Wednesday, Oct 6 and registration will be on a first come first serve basis. PARENTS/COMMUNITY

2021 GRAD DIPLOMA: Parents:  if you have an older child who graduated in June 2021, their Dogwood Graduation Diplomas are available in the office for pickup.  Younger siblings are welcome to pick them up.
