Congrats to the Jr. A Girls volleyball team who won all their games in day 1 of city playoffs, qualifying for islands next week. Next up: City championship on Wednesday. Go Stingers!

REVISED CLASS SCHEDULE: Nov 2 & 3 - Provincial Numeracy and Literacy Assessments will be taking place for many students today and tomorrow! To properly schedule these assessments, the entire school will follow a Copernican class schedule consisting of two long blocks per day (this was the class schedule used for all of last year). Please note the revised Class Schedule for those two days are on the Front page of our website.

CRC Emergency First-Aid with CPR "C" Blended Learning - This fun and interactive 4 hours online and 4.5 hours in-class course trains people how to react and improvise during time priority, life threatening emergencies. The online component covers care for adults, children, and babies. The classroom component will focus on developing the participant’s skills. Participants must successfully complete both the online and the classroom components to be certified in Emergency First-Aid with CPR C. IT IS GRAD QUOTE TIME! A form is available on the Grad Google Classroom and needs to be filled out. The deadline is DECEMBER 17th, 2021. Your write up will appear beside your photo in the yearbook, other photos may appear in the yearbook. This year I have asked for some videos that may be used later in the year for grad related activities. If you need help filling this out please come and find Mr. Hart. Do it this weekend so you do not need to worry as the deadline approaches. The form will be closed on December 18th and the page will be made, do not miss this deadline.
MAGIC WAND PROJECT: Magic Wand Project is a non-profit organization that offers an inexpensive and eco-friendly alternative to grad outfits for both girls and boys. This is a chance to borrow, rather than buy, a dress, suit or tux, (a small fee for cleaning is the only charge). All outfits are new or like-new, and all accessories are included. Prestige Portraits by Lifetouch is bringing their portable photo studio to Stelly's for a limited time: Nov 1st thru 9th, 2021. To book your appointment, please go to the LINK on the Stelly's website GRAD PAGE. Enter your province (BC), your city (Saanichton) and your school (Stelly's) to log in and book your appointment. Don't put this off until later, or all of the on-site appointments will be booked up and you will run out of time. Sitting fee of $25 (cash or cheque) is due at the time of your appointment (but if you know you are not purchasing photos, no sitting fee is required, but we DO need you to have a photo taken for the yearbook).
