Congratulations to the JR A Girls Volleyball team who played well in city playoff against Reynolds and Claremont last night finishing 2nd in the city! Next up: Island championships next Friday. Go Stingers!

Congratulations to the Sr Boys Volleyball Team who played their last home game and are possibly heading to the Island Championships!!

SR BOYS BASKETBALL TEAM TRY OUTS begin this Friday Nov. 5 from 2:45-4:30, Monday, Nov. 8th - 3:15pm - 5:00pm and Wednesday, Nov.10th - 2:45pm - 4:30pm.  See Mr. Peden for more information.

ALERT FIRST AID with CPR” C” & AED - NEW FORMAT: Blended online and in class.  Online: emailed to you two weeks prior to class date and on Saturday, November 6th, 2021 - 12:00 am to 4:30 pm in class @ SHOAL Centre 10030 Resthaven Drive.  Cost is $50.00 - Cash, cheque or credit card is accepted.  CRC Emergency First-Aid with CPR "C" Blended Learning - This fun and interactive 4 hours online and 4.5 hours in-class course trains people how to react and improvise during time priority, life threatening emergencies.  The online component covers care for adults, children, and babies. GRAD POINSETTIAS SALE- A fundraising opportunity to reduce the cost of your Grad Dinner/Dance ticket!  We have Poinsettias for sale via the Growing Smiles Fundraising group. GRAD FUNDRAISER - Come support your Stelly’s Parent After Grad Committee in fundraising for the 2022 Grad Class with a Meat Draw and 50/50 Draw at Brewsky's Tap house. Meat draw prizes are prepared and packaged by our local Fraser Orr Butcher. Packages range from wonderful selections of choice cut meats to marinated meats, sausages and pies.  Draws happen between 2pm and 4pm Saturday November 13th, and November 30th, 2021. Come enjoy the excitement and buy your $1 tickets supporting a great cause.

IT IS GRAD QUOTE TIME! A form is available on the Grad Google Classroom and needs to be filled out. The deadline is DECEMBER 17th, 2021.  Your write up will appear beside your photo in the yearbook, other photos may appear in the yearbook.   This year I have asked for some videos that may be used later in the year for grad related activities.  If you need help filling this out please come and find Mr. Hart.  Do it this weekend so you do not need to worry as the deadline approaches. The form will be closed on December 18th and the page will be made, do not miss this deadline.

MAGIC WAND PROJECT:  Magic Wand Project is a non-profit organization that offers an inexpensive and eco-friendly alternative to grad outfits for both girls and boys. This is a chance to borrow, rather than buy, a dress, suit or tux, (a small fee for cleaning is the only charge). All outfits are new or like-new, and all accessories are included. GRAD 2022 CLOTHING ORDER - Fall GRAD clothing online ordering is open now until November 10th. Clothing will arrive in early December.  Final clothing order will take place in the spring.

2021 GRAD DIPLOMA: Parents if you have an older child who graduated in June 2021, their Dogwood Graduation Diplomas are available in the office for pickup.  Younger siblings are welcome to pick them up.

SAANICH PENNINSULA YOUTH CLINIC is operating through Telehealth tonight from 5:30pm - 7:30pm.  Appointments with doctors or mental health workers are conducted by phone or video. Services are completely free and confidential for any medical concerns, to get prescriptions, or to speak with a counsellor.
