Sam Weber won a $1000 Scholarship for being the Oustanding Youth Volunteer at Central Saanich's Heart of the Community Awards. The event ran at the Mary Winspear Centre in Sidney on Tuesday. Sandy Hughes was also recognized for his contributions throughout the year.
Great performances by Emily Golumbia, Sarah Ippen, Emily Griffis, Aaron Bannister, Carl Aussenegg, and River (Sam Weber, Marshall Wildman, and Evan Hillier) accompanied the presentations.
The Archers (Liam McLaren, Robert McMullen, Ethan Henthorn, Liam Moes, and Sandy Hughes) played a set in the Bodine Hall during the reception that followed. Well done, Stelly's!
