Congratulations to The Archers! Our very own alt-indie folk band has won the title of BC's Best Teen Band. On April 30, 2011, the Top 3 finalists performed live at Tom Lee Music Hall in downtown Vancouver to compete for the grand prize. All three bands gave amazing performances, but the judges made the tough decision of selecting The Archers as the best of the best. Not only have The Archers won approximately $10,000 worth of prizes they have also made Stelly's extremely proud!
The Archers next performance will be this Friday, May 6th, at the Mary Winspear Center. They are the feature band in the "Music Aid" concert, an event planned by Stelly's Students to raise proceeds for music education in School District #63. Tickets are $10 for Students and $12 for Adults. Doors open at 7:00pm. See you there!
