On Monday May 2nd, 700,000 students across Canada united in song for the sixth annual “Music Monday”, giving voice to the power of music and the importance of music education. Students and teachers from 2000 schools in every province and territory take their music programs out of the schools and into their communities to perform a same-day nation- wide concert to underscore the importance of music in our lives – and especially in our schools.

Ms. Heinrichs took her concert band and choir students to the Victoria Conference Center to participate/perform under the baton of Maestra Tania Miller, Director of the Victoria Symphony.
