The Mentorship Apprenticeship and Career (MAC) Expo was held on Feb 23 in the Stellys gym. This was a School District 63 career activity that brought together recent grads who have successfully moved into the trades showcasing their skills to grade 10 and 11 students. The recent grads explained how their training in the twelve trade and career areas showcased started in high school, and how they benefited from getting a jump start into a well paid and rewarding career. The MAC Expo is a great example of how students can work with their schools, local employers and colleges to build their next steps in their career and life.
