Abby Speirs edged out GNS by 3 seconds and the third place runner by over a minute at the season opener Cross Country race at Lambrick Park on Thursday. Jessica Dorman and Sarah Buston followed in 10th and 11th place. Emma Mylie placed 3rd among Grade 10 girls and Thomas Heywood came in at a cool 6th for Grade 9 boys. Tarryn Cote placed 8th among the senior girls.
