Last week, approximately 40 Stelly's students took a field trip to the Marine Industry Expo at CFB Esquimalt, hosted by the South Island Partnership, West Coast Shipbuilding & Repair Forum, and the Resource Training Organization. It proved to be an excellent opportunity for students to learn about more than 70 different career paths that await them in the exciting Marine Sector including trades, professions and services. Exhibitors included the Canadian Coast Guard, Discover Trades BC, Seaspan and many more! A special thanks to Don Cameron from Camosun for all of his work to put this together for our students and many others from across the South Island - it was WELL worth it!
