Rotary Speaking Contest

The Rotary contest took place Wednesday, April 10.

 Mrs. Reston, Mr. Heywood, Mr. Bishop Mrs. Wallace -  judged the Rotary Public Speaking Contest at the school level.

The following students spoke eloquently and convincingly; it was a challenging job ranking these fine young speakers.

Each speech was passionate, informative and engaging. The participants were:

  • Gillian Bryson
  • Apryl Sweenie
  • Armand Birk
  • Cole McLellan
  • Alysha Rose


The winner is Alysha Rose with Gillian Bryson at a close second. Alysha will travel all the way to

Claremont for the next stage of this contest.
