At 8:25pm on Wednesday, May 31st, Finn Steiner took his last paddle stroke to complete his 1100km journey around Vancouver Island and pulled in at Pearson College in Pedder Bay. Still exhausted from his lingering cold he had a slow start paddling against the tide. The call of a warm soft bed, hot shower and a long rest converged with the current and Finn finished his trip with maximum speeds of up to 9.5 knots and was greeted by family and friends who managed to respond quick enough to the surprise arrival! Well Done Finn!!
