GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

STELLY'S ANNUAL ATHLETIC BANQUET is happening tonight in the large gym at 6pm! All athletes are invited to this free event.....Bee there!!

Marine Biology 11 students for 2017/2018 -A reminder that we have class this Friday at lunch.

BIKE LOCKS: Reminder to students that any bike locks left on the bike racks this summer will be cut off  and disposed of.

Free Tutoring is available on
Tuesday/Thursday after school in the Learning Common and on Wednesday in the Career Centre.

Did you know that you are responsible for paying for your lost books? Avoid the financial hassle! Return those school library books and text books that you no longer need to the Learning Commons TODAY!

CLUBS

YOUTH IN ACTION: Youth in action has begun a Crutches and Canes drive! Bring in your old crutches, canes, walkers or casts to be sent to people in need !

Also, today at at lunch, Youth in Action will be organizing pop cans in the parking lot to raise money to sponsor a medical care packages for developing communities abroad. Come lend a hand!

ATHLETICS

KICK FOR THE CURE: A reminder to all Jr and Sr Soccer players who are planning on playing in the Kick for the Cure game on Thursday, June 15th please see Ms Cunningham or Mr Braun with your t shirt size no later than Thursday

CAREER CENTER

Trades Exploration Program
Would you would like to learn more about a career in the TRADES? Then you should consider signing up for next year's TEX Program, run in partnership with Camosun College!  Get a taste of Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical and Welding. See Mr. Rhodes in the Career Centre for more info.

Work Experience – Grade 12 Credits
Do you have a job?  Do you plan to have a job and be working (or volunteering) over the summer?  Be sure to register for Work Experience with Mr. Rhodes in the Career Centre and earn grade 12 Work Experience credits for your work hours!

Check out the JOB BOARD right out side the Career Center. Lots of new jobs and opportunities posted daily!

GRADUATION 2017

AFTER GRAD GUESTS: Those grads who are taking their approved guests to the After Grad event must fill in a Guest Agreement Form. These forms must be picked up in the main foyer today at lunch.

GRAD List for Approved Dinner Dance Guests has been posted outside the office.

PARENTS

Reminder to Parents: Social and Emotional Learning Presentation tonight by Dr. Martin Brokenleg at 7:00-8:30pm at the Claremont Ridge Theatre.

INTERNATIONAL

STELLY'S INTERNATIONAL STUDENT FAREWELL LUNCHEON: Next Wednesday International Students are invited to a Pizza lunch in the dining Room for a Farewell Reception honouring all of our Stelly's Students leaving the program.

SISP Year End Celebration BBQ will take place on Thursday, June 15th from 5:30 - 8 pm for all Host Families and International Students in the District. The BBQ will take place outside in Stelly's back yard. International Students please sign-up with Diane.
