GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

YEAR END MUSIC CONCERT & BBQ is happening tonight- BBQ 4pm - 6pm  and Outdoor Music Concert starts at 6pm

PYJAMA DAY is this Friday June 16th. Remember to wear your pj’s to join in on the fun!

Wednesday, June 21 Stelly's is Celebrating National Aboriginal Day. This is a day for all Canadians to recognize and celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.

KICK FOR THE CURE: All soccer players participating in the Kick for the Cure fund raiser remember to head over to Centennial Park right after school on Thursday.

NEED EXTRA STUDY HELP?
Free Tutoring is available this week on
Tuesday/Thursday after school in the Learning Common and on Wednesday in the Career Center. Next Week, the Boys and Girls Club is providing Tutoring Monday through Wednesday in the Career Centre.

LIBRARY BOOKS: Did you know that there are still 2019 books still checked out of the library? Please return any books you are not using today.! Remember students are financially responsible for paying for any lost books!

HOMESTAY FAMILIES NEEDED: Do you live in the SD63 catchment area? Would you like to host one of our outstanding international students? If so please contact our homestay coordinator, Kelly Beaman for more information at: kbeaman@sd63.bc.ca

YOUTH IN ACTION: Meeting on Friday in Rm 108.

YOUTH IN ACTION: Youth in action has begun a Crutches and Canes drive! Bring in your old crutches, canes, walkers or casts to be sent to people in need !

ATHLETICS

INTERESTED IN ROWING?  Come down to the gym Thursday at lunch and give it a try and meet some of the coaches. Any questions, please see Mr. Braun.

CAREER CENTER

SUMMER ADVENTURE TOURISM PROGRAM: Earn 8 credits Through this program while you learn wilderness first Aid, ,navigation, leadership skills, risk management and survival skills. Learn more about this program on Friday in Block 1 or 2 in Rm 148. More info at the career centre too!

WORK EXPERIENCE - GRADE 12 CREDITS: Do you have a job?  Do you plan to have a job and be working (or volunteering) over the summer?  Be sure to register for Work Experience with Mr. Rhodes in the Career Centre and earn grade 12 Work Experience credits for your work hours!

GRADUATION 2017

AFTERGRAD CLOTHING DROP OFF: Student Drop off of Aftergrad Clothing is this week at lunch on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday in Room 144.

INTERNATIONAL

STELLY'S INTERNATIONAL STUDENT FAREWELL LUNCHEON: Tomorrow all International Students are invited to a Pizza lunch in the dining Room for a Farewell Reception honouring all of our Stelly's Students leaving the program.


 SISP Year End Celebration BBQ will take place on Thursday, June 15th from 5:30 - 8 pm for all Host Families and International Students in the District. The BBQ will take place outside in Stelly's back yard. Please sign-up with Diane.
