International Students – What do I do on the First Day?
Tuesday, September 5 – All New International Students arrive at Stelly's at 8:45 am. Students will have an orientation meeting in the Learning Commons from 8:30 am – 12:35 pm. At 10:10 am the Grade 9 and 12 students only will go through a rotation of their classes to meet their teachers. All other new students (Grades 10 and 11) will remain in the Learning Commons for further Orientation.
Returning Grade 12 International Students will arrive at 9:30 am and go to MPR for an assembly. Students will then go through a rotation of their classes, including TA.
All Students will be dismissed at 12:35 pm.
Wednesday, September 6 – All New International Students arrive at Stelly's at 9:30 am. Students will continue with orientation in the Learning Commons. During this time New Grad-Trac Students will be assessed. At 12:20 pm the Grade 10 and 11 students will go through a rotation of their classes to meet their teachers. All other new students (Grades 9 and 12) will remain in the Learning Commons for further Orientation.
Returning Grade 10 and 11 International Students will arrive at 12:05 pm for an assembly (Grade 10 to MPR, Grade 11 to Large Gym). Students will then go through a rotation of their classes, including TA.
All Students will be dismissed at 2:40 pm.
All New International Students should bring a lunch for both days as well as their passport and study permit.
