Congratulations to the Stellys Senior Boys Volleyball team who started out on the right foot going 4-2 in the first games last night! They beat Victor Brodeur in two sets and tied Esquimalt and Mt Doug! Next week the boys are playing at home, Wednesday at 6pm. Go Stingers!
PJ DAY: Celebrate the last Monday in September in comfort. PJ day is Monday, September 25th!

CREATIVE WRITING CLUB: The Creative Writing Club is having its first meeting at lunch in Mrs. Reston's room 70.

SAILING CLUB: Sailing Club is starting Sept 30th. If you are interested in sailing this fall please pick up an application form from the office or contact Christine Bennett at cbennett@sd63.bc.ca.

Work Experience 12A & 12B Registration Deadline
Reminder that the Work Experience 12A & 12B registration deadline is September 28th! Employed students wishing to achieve work experience credits for this year must be registered by this date. Please see Mr. Rhodes ASAP in the Career Centre to register!
Training Opportunities: Please come to the Career Centre for more information about these training opportunities:
1: Retail Training (FREE) 4 Sundays in October: Oct 1,15,22,29 (not Thanksgiving Sunday) at a Brentwood Bay Thrift Store. This certificate program prepares you for first time work experiences in retail and many other work environments.
2: Food Safe Level 1, Friday, Oct. 20th Pro-D Day - 8:30- 4:30 pm. ($50).
3: Basics of Banking & Finance, Oct. 28th (FREE).
4: First Aid With CPR & AED, Nov. 24th ($50).
