GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Just a friendly reminder to all students to be respectful of our neighbours and their property including signs that are put out to protect students at our neighbouring Elementary and Middle schools!
YEARBOOK meets at lunch today in the computer lab!
YELLOW GOOGLE FORMS: 202 students will have their Google accounts removed on Friday if they haven't handed in your yellow form properly completed on both sides. Please pick up a yellow form from the office if you did not return it to your TA at beginning of September.
MEET THE TEACHER - is happening this Thursday, September 28th. Early Dismissal is at 2:03. Our BBQ starts at 5pm. At 6pm we start the evening in the Large gym. Students please be sure to pass on your schedule to your parents so they know which class to attend.
CANADIAN UNIVERSITIES EVENT - OCT 5th The Canadian University Event will be coming to Parkland on Thursday October 5th.There will be over 40 universities from across Canada at this event. It is a great opportunity to meet and discuss post-secondary options in Canada with representatives from these institutions. Any Grade 12 student interested in attending this event can pick up a field trip permission form from the Career Centre. The form must be returned to the Career Centre by Monday, October 2nd. There is limited seat available and it will be on a first come first served basis. A list of participating institutions is posted at the Career Centre.

GO GREEN CLUB: Meeting today at lunch in Rm 153
JR BOYS SOCCER TEAM meeting at lunch in the small gym!
JR GIRLS BASKETBALL OPEN GYM: Are you a grade 9/10 junior girl who is interested in basketball? There are open gyms starting today at 5 pm in the small gym. They are not mandatory just an opportunity to play some basketball.
