Students will have their Google accounts removed today if they
haven't handed in the yellow form,properly completed on both sides.
Please pick up a yellow form from the Learning Commons today!
ORANGE SHIRT DAY- SEPT 29th
- Stelly's is celebrating Orange Shirt Day today. This is
a nationally commemorated day to remember the survivors of Indian
Residential Schools while affirming that all children are valued in our
community. Let's show our support for reconciliation and human rights.
Wearing orange helps us all to share in this important message. And head to the MPR at lunch today for Bone Games and Drumming!
CANADIAN UNIVERSITIES EVENT - OCT 5th The Canadian University Event will be coming to Parkland on Thursday October 5th. There will be over 40 universities from across Canada at this event. It is a great opportunity to meet and discuss post-secondary options in Canada with representatives from these institutions. Any Grade 12 student interested in attending this event can pick up a field trip permission form from the Career Centre. The form must be returned to the Career Centre by Monday, October 2nd. There are limited seats available and it will be on a first come first served basis.
JR GIRLS BASKETBALL OPEN GYM: Are you a grade 9/10 junior girl who is interested in basketball? There are open gyms on Wednesday's at 5 pm in the small gym. They are not mandatory just an opportunity to play some basketball.

Careers in the Army Reserve
The Canadian Army Reserve is hosting an Open House this SATURDAY, Sept. 30th
from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ashton Armoury on Vanalman Avenue. Lunch
is provided. Come find out what the Army Reserve has to offer in
employment, training and grants for further education. See the Career
Centre for more info.
Work Experience 12A & 12B Registration Deadline
Reminder
that the Work Experience 12A & 12B registration deadline is today!
Employed students wishing to achieve work experience credits for this
year must be registered by this date. Please see Mr. Rhodes ASAP in the
Career Centre to register!

Peninsula Youth Health Clinic
The Peninsula Youth Health Clinic, is located at the Ocean Pier Medical Clinic, (#207-2537 Beacon Avenue in Sidney) every THURSDAY 6-8pm.
This clinic offers completely free and confidential service in the
areas of physical, sexual, and mental health for youth. Walk-ins are
welcome. This Youth Clinic offers a judgement-free zone for all youth
