A huge congratulations to all Cross Country athletes for their performances at the Island championships last week. Stellys athletes dug deep and ran extremely well among large fields of runners from all over Vancouver Island. Special congratulations to Jonah Brost who had a very exciting race. Jonah placed third on the island earning him a spot at the BC championships November 4th. Our junior girls team members also qualified for the BC's with very strong races and great Stellys spirit!! Way to go Stingers you make us proud!!
LEADERSHIP is hosting a Haunted House at lunch today in the Boys PE Change room. Come one, come all !
HALLOWEEN COSUTUME CONTEST: Come to the MPR at lunch tomorrow for the Halloween Costume Contest. If you think you have a great costume come to the MPR 5 minutes before lunch starts and you wil be entered!
NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS DANCE: Tickets on sale at lunch today for the "NIghtmare before Christmas" Dance on Thursday.
BADMINTON INTRAMURALS: Anyone interested in playing badminton Intramurals? Sign up is on the PE board outside the main office. Games will start next Wednesday so grab a partner and come play at lunch!

Why not join Youth In Action in our annual We Scare Hunger food drive and collect non-perishable food for the Sidney Lions Food bank on Halloween. HOUSE OF COMMONS PAGE PROGRAM: The recruitment cycle for the House of Commons Page Program is on now through to December. Pages are first-year undergraduate students who work in the House of Commons in Ottawa for one year. Under the terms of their contract, Pages are paid $16,088 in 26 equal payments over a 12-month period. In addition, a sum of $1,200 is paid at the end of the employment period for successful completion of the contract. Are you interested in:

EXPLORATION IN TECHNOLOGY (TEAC 105)
It's Camosun's TEAC 105 (Explorations in Technology) registration time for the Feb-May 2018 course! This dual-credit course, runs on Fridays from 3-6 pm, and provides current high school students with an introduction to careers in 4 technology areas: Computer Science, Electronic and Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
