GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Big Shout out to all those students and staff involved in the “Fill the Hive Can Drive” last night!~ We collected over 12,000 cans! Way to go Stelly’s your Stinger Spirit is AWESOME!!

Monday, March 5th is a Pro-D day- School NOT in Session.

3 on 3 Basketball Intra-Murals starts this Friday at lunch! Games will be Mondays and Fridays. Teams must be a mixture of boys, girls, juniors, seniors and basketball team players. Put a team together or just come to the gym on Friday and we'll sort it out! Teachers welcome!

Need some Volunteer hours? Recyclable bottles need help being collected. This is a great opportunity to give a hand around the school. Bottle collections will be Monday’s and Thursdays at lunch. To get involved please speak with Hunter Lastiwka or see Mrs. Wallace in room 108.

2019 Grad Executive Committee: Are you in Grade 11 and hoping to be on the Grad Exec next year ? Info. meeting Thursday at lunch in room 116 with Mrs Brown! Applications available at the meeting.

ATHLETIC CONDITIONING: Are you in Grade 10 or 11 and interested in Athletic Conditioning next year? How about trying a class  on Friday at 7:00 a.m.  See Ms. Montgomery if you’re interested!

HOMEWORK HELP: Homework Help is available everyday in the Learning Commons starting at 7:30am and after school until 4pm.

CPF FUNDRAISER:  Canadian parents for French are having a SWEET fundraiser!  Craving maple syrup? We’ve got you covered!  Delicious maple syrup and maple lollipops at competitive prices are available to pre-order. Order forms are available on our website under the General Announcements or French Immersion Forum. Please drop off your order with payment (CPF - saanich) at the school office no later than March 1st. 

COURSE SELECTION FOR 2018/2019: Course Selection forms are due back by Friday to the Career Centre. Any questions...See a Counsellor!

YEARBOOKS: Please check the Yearbook list in the office to ensure you have pre-purchased your Yearbook. Cost is $50 now and will increase after spring Break! ONLY A few extra yearbooks will be ordered so prepay now to ensure you get one!

ATHLETICS 

SPRING SCHOOL SAILING: Spring School Sailing will be starting April 7th and goes to June 9th.  There will be 2 practices per week; one after school and one Saturday plus 2 regattas.  Application forms due by spring break and can be found under Parkland Marine Academy on the Parkland School website.  If you have any questions, please contact Christine at cbennett@sd63.bc.ca
