WESTERN CANADA SWIM CHAMPIONSHIPS: The Western Canada Swim Championships are happening this week at Commonwealth Pool starting today through Sunday.  Come cheer on the Stelly's swimmers as they take on some of the top swimmers in Western Canada!

K-12 GIFT EXCHANGE - Tonight is the Canadian Parents for French 24th Annual K-12 Gift Exchange Celebration starting at 5.30 pm - 7.00 pm in the MPR.  Reminder to Grade 12 students to arrive at 5pm!

HOMEWORK HELP: Don't forget...Homework Help is available everyday in the Learning Commons starting at 7:30am and after school until 4pm.

CAREER CENTRE

Are you interested in Auto Body Refinishing or Repair? ATTEND AN INFO SESSION on FRIDAY!  Reps from Vancouver Community College will be presenting in the Auto Shop (Room 001) on Friday, April 13th at 9:00

TRAINING & EDUCATION:

FREE  RETAIL TRAINING - May & June in Sidney and Brentwood - full day - Sundays for 4 weeks from 10:00 - 4:00 pm. This certificate program prepares you for first time work experiences in retail and many other work environments.  You will be treated as an employee and you will be working alongside a busy team of staff members who are depending on you just as they would any employee. You will have training in: Working a cash register and counting cash - Customer service - Creating displays - Sorting inventory - Assisting with pricing - Opening & closing procedures

TALE - Tourism and Leadership Exploration - SD61 and West Coast Adventure College have partnered together to offer an amazing 8-week summer program for students interested in exploring the Adventure Tourism Industry. The program runs from in July and August 2017 (exact dates TBD)

Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm with the following schedule:

July 2017: Local Victoria Parks & Trails, Uplands Campus

August 2017: Work Experience with Local Companies

The Peninsula Youth Clinic is open every Thursday at their new location from 5:30 - 7:30pm. Both a doctor and mental health counsellor are available.
