ATHLETICS

Congratulations to the Senior Girls Volleyball team who finished 6th at the Island Championships this weekend at Dover Bay. Well done girls!

Last Friday and Saturday, Stelly’s was admirably represented by 14 swimmers, who attended the provincial championships in Richmond. We are lucky to have some of the best swimmers in BC attending Stelly’s. Our boys 400 m freestyle relay team finished 5th, and Haldon  "The Mailman" Craig delivered a gold and a sliver medal in the 50 free and the 50 backstroke. Not to be outdone, "Lightning" Liam Ayres bolted and brought home two gold medals in the 100 m free and the 100 IM. Congratulations to the Stingers Swimmers and thank you to coach Lauren Mosher. You all make us proud!

The challenge has been made! Wednesday at lunch there will be a Volleyball game - Grade 12's vs. Teachers. Come out and cheer on the teachers!
