GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Congratulations to the Stelly's Music Department who put on  an outstanding performance last night! We are so lucky to have such AMAZING talent at Stelly's! Bravo ! Bravo! and Bravo Again!

The Cafeteria is Closed now so today and Friday are Bake Sale and Pizza Days.... Bake Sale at break and lunch in the main foyer. Pizza is at lunch and is $2.50 a slice...bring your cash or pay by debit with Mrs. Youell in the accounts office.

Stelly's Annual Xmas Breakfast for Students will be happening tomorrow morning starting at 7:15am through 8:15am. Come on out and watch your favourite teacher flip a pancake or fry up some bacon or sausage and take part in this awesome FREE annual event!  Also don’t forget that tomorrow is UGLY SWEATER DAY sweater day for the whole school!

DODGEBALL INTRAMURALS: Last chance to sign up for intramural dodgeball today and tomorrow! Sign up sheets are posted outside the PE office.  website. See Mr. Braun if you have any questions

NUMERACY EXAM SIGN UP: Numeracy Exam sign up sheets for January are posted outside the main office. At this time we are asking that only  Grade 11 and 12's  sign up.

DROPPING A SEMESTER 1 CLASS?
The last day for students to drop a semester 1 course is this FRIDAY December 21st.  Forms are available in the Career Centre. After Dec. 21, students will not be allowed to drop a Semester 1 class and their marks will be on their report cards.

CAREER CENTRE

High Tech U
HighTech U is an initiative of the UVic Computer Science Dept. This 3-step program includes a an 8-week paid summer internship working in the the high-tech industry. Once completed, graduates of the internship will be eligible for a post-secondary award towards their first-year tuition at UVic.  Application submissions are due December 31st.  A representative will be here at lunch on Thursday, December 20th in the Career Centre, to give a presentation for the High Tech U Program. In this presentation, you will be able to learn about the program from a participants perspective and find out more information about the exciting opportunities in store.

GRAD 2019

GRAD BOTTLE DRIVE: The next Grad Bottle Drive is happening this Saturday from 9am to 12pm. Drop off your bottles and cans and support our Grad Class of 2019!

GRAD YEARBOOK WRITE-UP AND SLIDE SHOW PHOTOS: A list has been posted on the Grad Board of those Grads that have successfully submitted their yearbook write-up  and slide show photo's. If your name is not on the list see Mr Hart ASAP.

GRAD PHOTO PROOFS: Grad Photo Proofs are available for pick up from the main office

GRAD’s don’t forget to grab a Thrifty Smile card or a Fairway card from the office to raise funds for the Dry Grad.  Get your parents to load the card when they shop, and the stores will make a donation to Dry Grad 2019.

The Peninsula Youth Clinic in  Sidney is open today and every THURSDAY from 5:30 - 7:30pm with both a doctor and mental health clinician on hand.
