Last week in a special ceremony the Spirit of Stelly's award was given to Kiara and Natalya Child. The girls were given their award early as they are travelling to New Zealand and will not be able to attend the Stelly's Award Ceremony.
Kiara, Natalya, and Mariah Child and their family are travelling to Hamilton, New Zealand this week to present at the NAISA (Native American Indigenous Studies Association) Conference www.naisa.org at the University of Waikato.
The girls are also planning to learn about Maori culture, travel the North Island and visit Hobbiton.
