Interested in playing card or board games? Room 172 will be open for drop in games today at lunch. Come learn a new game or bring one of your own to share. Everyone welcome!

Photo Retake Day – Oct. 28 - Photo retake day is MONDAY October 28 in block 1, if you missed the first photo day, or if you want a new photo taken. If you want retakes, you must return your complete original package (and I.D. card) to the photographer at the time of retakes. Purchasing photos is optional, but all students in all grades need to have school photos taken, for school identification purposes (grade 12’s too - even if you are having grad photos taken).
ATHLETICS
BOYS BASKETBALL: Just a quick reminder that senior boys basketball have tryouts starting this Wednesday 7-9 pm in the big gym.. Also junior boys basketball is Friday after school. Any questions, please see Mr. Braun.
CLUBS
BOOK CLUB: Book club will be in room 114 on Thursday at lunch this week. Come have some snacks and tea while we talk about our favourite books.

UVic School of Health Information Science Open House – Oct 16 The School of Health Information Sciences is hosting its Fall Open House on Wednesday, October 16th, 4:30-6:00pm at UVic’s Cornett Building room A125. Students interested in the life sciences, medicine and/or information technology would be especially interested in these programs. Students are invited to learn more about this exciting field by talking with faculty and students. Join us for pizza while learning about the rapidly expanding field of information technology in health care!

Grads, it is time to go online and book your grad photos! Lifetouch is bringing their portable photo studio to Stelly's at the end of October. Don’t put this off as appointments book up fast!
INTERNATIONAL
Vancouver Day Trip - November 13th - Registration forms are now available in the International Office for International Students interested in going on the Vancouver Day Trip Excursion scheduled for Wednesday, November 13, 2019. The Cost is $85.00 which includes Admission to Capilano Bridge and FlyOver Canada, Ferry and Bus Transportation. Completed forms are due by Tuesday, October 29 or until the buses are full, whichever comes first.
