GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Yesterday in the Nanaimo Aqatic Center, the Stellys swim team did amazingly well, placing 7th out of 28 teams on Vancouver Island. All 9 swimmers qualified for provincials in multiple individual and relay events. Congratulations to Katie, Sophie, Izzy, Jillian, Cailen, Haldon, Liam Cole and Paiden. You Crushed It!
Also, Congratulations to the Sr Girls Volleyball team for winning the Vic High Invitational Tournament this past weekend! You all make us so proud Stingers!
Cafeteria is Closed on Wednesday so its a Bake Sale and Pizza Day. Be sure to bring your cash or prepay with your debit with Mrs. Youell in the accounting office.
All International Students are asked to attend a meeting today at lunch in the Dining Room. Please bring your lunch!
Indigenous Movie night is happening this Thursday at 7pm in the MPR. The Movie chosen is called “Smoke Signals”. Come check it out!

Photo Retake Day – Oct. 28 - Photo retake day is next MONDAY October 28 in block 1, if you missed the first photo day, or if you want a new photo take or If you want retakes, you must return your complete original package (and I.D. card) to the photographer at the time of retakes. Purchasing photos is optional, but all students in all grades need to have school photos taken, for school identification purposes (grade 12’s too - even if you are having grad photos taken).

Grads, remember to go online and book your grad photos! Lifetouch is bringing their portable photo studio to Stelly's starting next week. Don’t put this off as appointments book up fast!
POINSETTIA PLANT FUND RAISER: Grads do you want to decrease your Grad Activity fees this year? Grad Poinsettia fundraiser order forms are now available on the Grad Board in the main foyer! Forms are due back Monday, November 18th, 2019.
BOTTLE DRIVE FOR GRAD 2020: The next Grad bottle drive is this Saturday, October 26th from 9:00am - 12:00pm to raise money for the After Grad 2020. The Bottle Drive schedule co-insides with the Community Recycling and soft plastics drop-off at Stelly’s each month.
