Today is the absolute last chance to register teams in the annual dodge ball tournament. Currently we only have 4 teams registered and the tournament will not run unless we get 2 more teams.

WOMEN IN TRADES & TECHNOLOGY EXPLORATION DAY -Camosun College- Feb 26th. Bus transportation and lunch will be provided! YMCA Summer Work Student Exchange is a national program offering opportunities for youth to improve their second official language skills, explore another part of Canada, and gain valuable work experience through a work placement while on the exchange. The program runs for 6 weeks (early July to mid August), you must be 16 or 17 years of age during the summer program. Camosun's TEAC 105 (Explorations in Technology) registration is now open for the Feb-May 2020 course! This dual-credit course, runs on Fridays from 3-6 pm, and provides current high school students with an introduction to careers in 4 technology areas: Computer Science, Electronic and Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. This is a great opportunity for youth interested in pursuing a career in health care and who are passionate about supporting our local elder populations. DRY GRAD 2020 COMMITTEE The parents of the Dry Grad 2020 Committee are looking for assistance from grad parents to obtain prizes for our raffle fundraiser. The raffle has the potential to raise $14,000 for the dry grad event, which will have a huge impact on the amount of available funding. Our hope is that you can approach your workplace for an exciting donation that will promote the sale of our tickets. Or, if you own a business, we would appreciate gift certificates or merchandise that we could use as a raffle and/or silent auction prize.
